ssl证书（let's encrypt）不自动更新

请问，ssl证书（let's encrypt）最近两次都不自动更新（上一次是2017年12月17日到期，这次是2018年03月17日到期），以前都是正常自动更新的，这是怎么回事呢？怎样才能让它继续自动更新呢？谢谢！

打开看了下certbot.log文件，发现了下面的内容：

WARNING: couldn't find Python 2.6+ to check for updates.
Skipping upgrade because new OS dependencies may need to be installed.

install any required packages.

看来是需要升级Python版本？

1）如果需要升级，请问如何才能安全升级？

2）以后类似这样无法更新证书可能导致网站无法访问的情况，能否提前及时通知到我们呢？比如通过邮件、手机短信（可适当收费）等进行通知，这样避免造成服务中断、客户流失的问题！
